Virtual reality can transform tourism
As a result of technological and commercial developments of the recent years, the question of how virtual reality (VR) will affect different industries is becoming increasingly topical.
In the travel industry, for example, we see a very wide range of forecasts ranging from fashionable technology to a threat to the industry – according to a press release by Roland Berger.
VR creates an artificial environment for the user through the use of glasses and headphones; pictures, sounds and motion tracking make the simulation real. As a result, content and software developers continue to be challenged to reach a significant customer base. (Világgazdaság)
