The villányi Serena is Europe's best white wine
The Decanter magazine has chosen the Villányi as Europe's best white wine. Like all great wines, the Serena was also born in mind – stresses Malatinszky Csaba, winemaker.
The grape was grown in the Zuhánya vineyard in Siklós. The wine was created from the marriage of Chardonnay, Rajna Riesling and Muscat Ottonel. Malatinszky Csaba, winemaker wanted to create a white wine, that is perfectly suited to the demands of a modern white wine – reports szabadfold.hu.
