The lack of credit inhibits the growth of world trade
The lack of credit can be a significant impediment of the expansion of global trade, and hits especially the poor countries – said the Chief Executive of the World Trade Organization (WTO) on Thursday at a financial conference in Frankfurt.
According to Pascal Lamy, the smaller participants, especially in the low-income countries – but some in the more developed countries – are vulnerable because of credit paucity.
The lack of the proper functioning of financial markets, can be a significant limit of trade expansion – especially in poor countries – said Lamy – reports MTI.
