Two François champagnes in the world elite!
François champagnes have achieved a brilliant result in recent days. François President Brut and François President Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut 2018 won a gold medal at one of the most important wine competitions in the world, Mundus Vinin in Germany. The specialty of the latter is that it was made exclusively for the Michelin-starred Babel Budapest restaurant, which further increases the product’s exclusivity and prestige. By the way, François is one of the Hungarian champagne cellars with the longest history – 138 years – and is considered a real specialty among fans.
Two items from the François brand dazzled the professional jury of Mundus Vini, held in Germany for the 34th time this February, which is considered one of the world’s most important wine competitions. Like François President Brut, François President Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut 2018 also won a gold medal. The value of the recognition is enhanced by the fact that only the products of Törley Pezsgőpinceszét among the Hungarian champagne houses were able to win in the champagne category. Among the award-winning champagnes, François President Brut is available at Pezsgőwebshop (www.pezsgowebshop.hu).
Only the best have a chance at Mundus Vinin. The reason for this is that no less than 250 wine experts from 55 countries taste the named items at the Neustadt town hall. And only the real specialties can win over such a wide panel. And there was no shortage of competition, as more than 10,000 bottles from 45 countries were presented to the judges.
