According to the World Bank, the Hungarian economy will expand by 4.6 percent this year
The World Bank has downgraded its forecast for Hungarian growth this year by 0.4 percentage points and next year by 0.5 percentage points compared to its January forecast.
Significantly worse data is expected for the economy of the European (excluding Western Europe) and Central Asian regions, which also include Hungary: the region’s total GDP is expected to fall by 2.9 percent this year and will increase by 1.5 percent in 2023. (MTI)
