Flaming hell: Could you take on the world’s hottest sandwich?
The ‘flaming hell’ sandwich measures 2.3million on the Scoville chilli heat scale – higher than pepper spray.
It also comes slathered in a sauce made from two of the world’s hottest chillis, one of which is 250 times hotter than a jalapeno.
Staff at the shop in Latchford, Cheshire, have to wear two pairs of gloves to prepare the dish, which is 400 times hotter than tabasco sauce.
Creator Simon Nash believes the super spicy sandwich is the perfect hangover cure after a big night out.
‘We wanted something with a bit of oomph that would blow the cobwebs away the morning after,’ he explained.
‘Now we are getting older the head the morning after takes longer to clear. So we wanted something that would get us back to normal again and be a bit of a challenge.
