The weirdest phobia of the world: fear of cheese
Cheese can be gross, for sure. It perspires in the sun, and some varieties grow mold and smell. But is it enough to give you the cold sweats? For Sammy Jenkins, the answer is yes. The 20-year-old British woman has a deathly fear of cheese that's so horrifically bad she's now seeking therapy to deal with it. The bizarre condition, known as turophobia, has forced Jenkins to flee the room when her friends order pizza, and one time she rejected a job interview with upscale supermarket chain Waitrose because she found out the position involved working at the cheese counter. Seriously, don't let this girl near any cheese-rolling festivals.
