The Meat Association has become a member of the VHT

The Livestock and Meat Interprofessional Organization and Marketing Board (VHT) became the member of the Meat Association from the 1st of October –VHT told MTI on Thursday. The Meat Association contains the middle sized and large pork and beef slaughter and processing plants.

The agreement was signed by Éder Tamás of the Meat Association and Németh Antal, the President of VHT. The Communication notes that the Hungarian pig production and processing power dramatically declined in recent years, while Hungarian pork still remaining popular in Europe and in the Asian countries.
