Continental from Veszprém won the 2023 Grand Prix of the Factory of the Year Project Competition in the large company category
The Veszprém site of the Continental technology company won the Grand Prix of the “Year Factory Project Competition 2023” in the large company category. All six nominated projects of the company’s unit in Veszprém received awards, including a gold medal. In addition, Continental’s Vác plant also made it to the finals in the Manufacturing/Production Project of the Year category.
In recent years, the company group’s Budapest unit won the main prize three times in a row at the contest known as the Gyára of the Year competition. And this year, the Veszprém site was awarded the Grand Prix in the large company category at the event now known as the Factory of the Year Project Competition.
The Veszprém Continental Maintenance development and digitization, HR strategy for employee retention, Innovative manufacturing solution in production, Energy efficiency development, Complex data use, and Production waste recycling submitted a tender for the competition organized by GyártásTrend magazine.
The technology company’s site in Veszprém made it to the finals with its applications submitted in all six categories, and it won first place in the Digitalization Project of the Year in Manufacturing category. The jury of the competition highlighted the high quality and professional level of the tenders submitted.
