As the emergency ceases, labor law rules also change
The National Assembly passed the Emergency Response Act, which entered into force on 18 June 2020. The special labor law rules previously introduced will be abolished, but some of them will still be applicable until 1 July. Dr. Óváry-Papp Nóra and dr. Lieszkovszky Helga,, lawyers at the international law firm Baker McKenzie, summarize the changes.
Elimination of the emergency also means that the special rules introduced will no longer be applicable or will be limited in time. These include the rules on the communication of working hours: the employer may deviate from these rules until 1 July 2020, when the emergency situation ceases. You must then return to applying the pre-emergency rules.
