Catering industry asks government for rewieving the plan of holiday cheques' tax
Instead of increasing tax revenue taxing the holiday cheques results fatal macro economy problems – said Tourist Department of National Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers (NAEE).
The guild calls governments attention
to that holiday cheques and meal contribution bring considerable gain
for catering industry. That also means extra revenues for government
from vat and other taxes. If employers have to pay personal income
tax they will give less cheques or nothing for their employees, what
would results less domestic guests in tourist and catering industry.
Nowadays the sector is in competitive disadvantage on the
international market because of high vat, NAEE thinks the government
should better cut taxes and not to put new loads on restaurants' and
hotels' back.
