The Magyar Turizmus Zrt. expects increase in the number of overnight stays
The Magyar Turizmus Zrt. (Hungarian National Tourist Office) in its next year's marketing plan calculates that the number of guest nights at commercial accommodations in Hungary will increase by 1.8 percent in, while the domestic overnight stays will stagnate, but the foreign overnight stays will increase by 3.6 percent – announced Horváth Gergely, Chief Executive the company's marketing plan for 2012 on Thursday in Budapest.
He told that tourism is forecasted to be increased by 2-3 percent worldwide next year. This ratio in Europe is exopected to be 1-3 percent, while the tourism markets of the emerging countries may increase by 10-15 percent – reports MTI.
