Majority of shoppers use generative AI without realising it
According to a new study, 71% of consumers in the US are unaware that they are using generative AI while shopping online.

Research by Bain & Company has revealed: the proportion of people who knowingly use generative AI when shopping online is low, but the majority of shoppers are convinced of its positive impact, and many are willing to provide personal information to receive tailor-made recommendations. Only 22% of shoppers said they don’t use generative AI-based tools when shopping because they don’t trust them. //
