Lidl’s new campaign celebrates customers’ favorites

Lidl Hungary’s latest campaign focuses on the timeless classics and secret favorites that have become legends over the years. The products discovered by customers and added to the ranks of Lidl Legends – the fresh butter croissant, Alesto walnut filling, Milbona coffee milk drink and Fin Carré milk chocolate – are loved and consumed by many, and can now be purchased at a significant discount. Lidl’s goal is to provide everyone with access to quality, affordable products, with a prominent role for its own-brand product range, which is also loved by customers.

The supermarket chain’s latest campaign, “Lidl Legends“, highlights four iconic products that have earned themselves cult status over the years. The discount chain aims to showcase Lidl products that have become popular thanks to their quality and affordable prices. These legends are selected from among its own brand products, and some of them have been available in the range since the beginning and are an integral part of Lidl’s history. The Lidl Legends product range includes fresh butter croissants, 200-gram Alesto Selection selected walnut kernels, 330-ml Milbona coffee milk drink in several versions (Latte Macchiato, Espresso Macchiato, Cappuccino), and 100-gram Fin Carré milk chocolate. The supermarket chain is now offering these products at significantly lower prices during sale periods, so they can be purchased up to 44 percent cheaper.

A significant part of the supermarket chain’s range is based on own-brand products, which Lidl are extremely popular among its customers: it is enough to mention only the products Pilos, Pikok Pure, Húsfarm or Hazánk Kincsei. Products from Hungarian suppliers, such as the members of the Pilos product family, are successful not only at home, but also on export markets.

The department store chain’s own-brand products are not only available at a good price, but also compete with branded products in quality, which is confirmed by customer feedback and numerous awards. As a responsible and ethical company, Lidl also strives to work with Hungarian suppliers and offer as many domestic products as possible when it comes to its own-brand products.
