Shopping experience and stable operation is the key to success in e-commerce
Between mid-March and the end of April more than 50,000 new shoppers appeared in e-commerce, while the average order value and the number of basket items both grew – reveals a study by Stylers. In the first quarter of 2020 Hungarian retailers fulfilled 9.9 million domestic orders in the value of HUF 149.6 billion.
Gábor Gönczy, CEO of Stylers Group reckons that one of the most important factors in operating a successful online store is if it takes just a few steps for customers to place an order – and of course to get the product as soon as possible. On the retailer side this requires knowing shoppers very well and this is where modern technologies come into the picture.
Mobile platforms are going to remain important in online sales and e-commerce companies will start using artificial intelligence (AI) technology, for instance to analyse large datasets, in order to get to know shoppers better. //
