Eurozone’s inflation was lower than expected in April
Eurozone’s inflation was worse than expected in April, according to the preliminary figures published by the European Union’s statistical office (Eurostat), published on Thursday.
Consumer prices increased by 1.2 percent year-on-year in April following a 1.3 percent increase in March. The market expected a price increase of 1.3 percent for April, similar to March. (MTI)
