The ifo German business sentiment index decreased less than expected
In addition to improving of the current economic conditions, the business sentiment index of the ifo Institut in Germany was less than expected in July.
On Wednesday, the Institute for Economic Research (ifo Institut – Leibniz-Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung an der Universität München e. V.) announced that the German business sentiment index dropped to 101.7 in July, the lowest since March 2017, from 101.8 points of June. Analysts expected a larger drop, 101.5 points for July. (MTI)
