Retail sales in China increased less than expected
In China, retail sales and industrial production grew less than expected in July, according to the statistics agency’s report.
In July, retail sales grew by 8.8 percent, compared to the previous year, after the 9.0 percent increase of the previous month. The markets expected a 9.1 percent growth in July. (MTI)
