Retail trade in June was less than expected in the euro area
In June, retail sales in the euro area grew lower than expected, according to Eurostat, the European Union’s statistical office.
In June, with seasonal adjustment, retail sales grew by 0.3 percent in the 19 euro area Member States, compared to the previous month and did not change in the 28 member states of the European Union.
The monthly growth in retail sales in May was 0.3 percent in the euro area and 0.6 percent in the EU. (MTI)
