Investor confidence in the euro area has improved less than expected
Sentix’s investor confidence index improved to 29.8 points in July, the highest level since February 2018, from 28.1 points in June. Experts expected a slightly larger improvement of 30 points in July.
The indicator quantifying the assessment of the current investor environment rose to 29.8 points from 21.3 points in June, while the assessment of the outlook fell from 35.3 points to 29.8 points. (MTI)
