Euro area private sector growth accelerated more than expected in June
Compared to preliminary data, euro area private sector growth accelerated to a greater extent in June – according to purchasing manager indices.
IHS Markit, a London-based financial and economic data provider, reported on Wednesday that the composite purchasing manager index (BMI) compiled from manufacturing and service industry data increased to 52.2 points in June from the 51.8 points of the previous month. The preliminary data was 52.1 points. (MTI)
