Ifo’s German business sentiment index for June weakened more than expected
After two months of improvement, the ifo economic research index in Germany showed a larger-than-expected decline in June.
In a survey conducted by the ifo Institute for Economic Research at the University of Munich (ifo Institut – Leibniz-Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung an der Universität München e. V.), the business sentiment index fell to 92.3 points from 93 points in May. The May value is the lowest since February last year. (MTI)
