Ifo’s July German business sentiment index weakened more than expected

German business sentiment fell short of expectations
In a survey by the ifo Institute for Economic Research of the University of Munich (ifo Institut – Leibniz-Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung an der Universität München e.V.), the July business sentiment index fell to 88.6 points from 92.2 points in June. This year’s July indicator is the lowest since July 2020. (MTI)
