German retail trade became better than expected
The German retail trade data was much better in October than the expectitons of analysts.
German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) announced on Friday that there was a 5 percent increase in retail sales (without gasoline and car sales) compared to October last year. Analysts expected a modest growth of 2.7 percent after a 2.8 percent fall in September. (MTI)
