Better-than-expected half-year results at DSV
DSV is one of the most important transport and logistics companies in the world, which also plays a leading role in Hungary. The global company reported better-than-expected first half results and strong cash flow compared to market conditions.
In the second quarter of 2023, we achieved solid results and strong cash flow in all three divisions. Demand for transport and logistics services is modest, but in the first half of 2023 we have demonstrated our ability to adapt to changing market conditions. The outlook for the development of the sector is still uncertain, however, we see signs of stabilization and we expect a gradual improvement in the volume of world trade in the coming quarters, said Jens Bjørn Andersen, CEO of the DSV Group, in DSV’s first half-year report.
