Consumer confidence in the euro area and the EU deteriorated more than expected in November

European consumers not too optimistic
The European Commission said on Monday that the consumer confidence index in the eurozone fell by 2 points to minus 6.8 points in November. Analysts expected a less deteriorating indicator, minus 5.5 points for November.
In the 27 Member States of the European Union, the value of the consumer confidence index fell by 2.1 points to minus 8.2 points. (MTI)
