Investor confidence in the euro area has deteriorated more than expected
Sentix’s investor confidence index fell to 22.2 points in August from 29.8 points in July, the highest since February 2018. Experts expected a less deteriorating indicator, 29 points.
The indicator quantifying the current investor environment increased from 29.8 points to 30.8 points, strengthened for the sixth consecutive month and reached its highest level since October 2018. (MTI)
