The duty-free export of Ukrainian grain cause disturbances for the Hungarian producers
“After the February drop in grain prices a rise characterizes the grain market is currently. However the duty-free export of Ukrainian grain cause disturbances for the Hungarian producers in May and June, so warehouse financing can get a bigger role again”- Tresó István, Head of the Department of the K&H Agricultural Business Development Department told.
In the February prices of agricultural products, the vegetable prices showed a 17 percent decrease. For cereals, the falling prices are due to the fact that both wheat stock levels are favorable and in the northern hemisphere the autumn wheat crop’s prospects are good as well as maize crop.
