Austrian tourism declines during the crisis

According to the Austrian Statistical Office;.32 million foreign guest nights recorded in Austria which is a 8.2 percent declinem, compared to the same period of last year.

From Germany, which is the most important sending country visitors spent 5.51 million guest nights in hotels in Austria,  5.4 percent less compared to the same period of last year. The biggest drop was recorded among the Russian guests with a  54 percent decline – reports Világgazdaság Online.
