UPS Healthcare is carrying out another major expansion in the Central and Eastern European region
UPS has more than doubled the size of its healthcare logistics center in Ostrava, Czech Republic. The company’s facility was expanded with 6,000 m2 of modern, good wholesale practice, where a validated temperature-controlled environment was created for sensitive pharmaceuticals and biological preparations. The investment is part of the intensive expansion process launched last year, in the framework of which the company also expanded its strategically located headquarters in Hungary.

UPS Healthcare is making another expansion in the region
“Our customers operate in the world’s fastest-growing healthcare markets, and their next-generation products require near-perfect service. We invest not only to meet our customers’ needs for quality solutions, but also to support the communities where we work and live by creating new jobs.”
– said Fredrik Jansson, UPS Healthcare Europe managing director for Central and Eastern Europe.
The facility supports the company’s growth, facilitates better access to the fast-growing Eastern European markets, and provides another direct connection to UPS’s global network for the region’s pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers.
