The appereance of the community hotel sharing sites is strengthening tourism, but weakening the traditional accommodations, however, these sites can have a positive effect on the entire sector
– Karakasné Morvay Klára, adjunct of the Budapest Business School drew attention on Tuesday.
She pointed out that while the commercial accommodations in Hungary reached an average sales growth of over 10 percent last year, the hostels and low-category hotels only produced a 4.7 percent growth, due to the community hotel sharing sites. The declining growth process will soon reach the business hotels in Budapest as well. (MTI)
