An EU tender is launched to encourage conscious shopping
The aim of the tender is to draw attention not only to the importance of intellectual property, but also to the damage caused by counterfeiting. The application, with a total value of 1 million euros (more than 350 million HUF), is mainly aimed at the younger age group, thus mainly those aged 15 to 24, as well as current or future teachers and scientific experts. In the long run, EUIPO wants to make the younger generation more aware of their purchases and reduce the popularity of counterfeiting and piracy. (MTI)
