Conscious business relationship building brings almost HUF 100 billion in revenue to Hungarian SMEs every year
Modern networking, which dates back almost half a century, only broke into our country in 2008, but since then, more and more entrepreneurs are taking advantage of its inherent business potential. Building professional relationships is more than exchanging business cards or the promise of direct sales: long-term, mutually beneficial relationships generate 45,000 recommendations every year within BNI Hungary alone, says András Avidor, head of BNI. On March 21, the business community operating in 82 countries around the world welcomes those who aim for growth and foreign market expansion, or who simply want to become professional networkers, with a large-scale International Networking Conference open to everyone.
“The networking industry in our country has come a long way in the last 15 years”
– says András Avidor, founder and head of BNI Hungary and also a member of the global presidential advisory board of the business community.
“At the beginning of the 2000s, entrepreneurs who recognized the power of the community were able to participate in only a few chamber meetings, but the enormous demand is clearly demonstrated by the fact that in 2009 we organized our first networking conference with a full house. This is where we got to the point where we currently organize around 2,600 events and trainings across the country every year, and thanks to the international connection, businesses preparing for the foreign market can also gain valuable experience and contacts within the BNI community. Of course, this does not make the organization weak, on the contrary, there is huge interest in rural locations as well.”
– adds the specialist.
