The product facing the highest inflation is cheese
In Hungary, dairy products experienced the biggest increase in price, Trappist cheese went up by 18.7 percent in one month, from November to December, and sour cream with a 20 percent fat content went up by 12.5 percent, but yogurt, cottage cheese and 1.5 percent milk its price also increased by 10 percent between November and December, according to the subjective survey of the G7.
The rise is also remarkable because, according to the portal’s measurements, the rate of inflation in general did not increase significantly between the two months. Inflation, which they measured at 48-49 percent, came out in such a way that some products (including dairy products) became more expensive, while others became cheaper.
