The tobacconists to sell alcohol at night
In several districts of Budapest it is prohibited to sell alcohol after 10 pm. However, this regulation does not apply to the national tobacco shops.
Formerly the National Assembly excluded the national tobacco shops from the scope of the Commerce Act as the proposal of Lázár János Chief Secretary of the Prime Minister's Office and Papcsák Ferenc Mayor of Zugló. The local governments can only restrict the opening hours of shops and the sale of alcoholic beverages through the Commerce Act. (index.hu)
