The aggrieved demanding the annulment of the tobacco shop concessions

The Movement of Tobacco Shop Tender Aggrieved demand the destruction of the result of tobacco shop applications and a new tender. The Movement’s representative gave twenty thousand signatures supporting the initative to the Office of Fundamental Rights on Friday, at a press conference in Budapest.

Szabóné Szabados Katalin the Movement’s representative said: they think that tendering was lack of transparency and violated the fundamental rights. Conditions were changed during the tender, ie, the government changed the price margin and the scope of the products that can be sold. Therefore they ask Szabó Máté ombudsman to prepare a resolution in the case

They demand to let the former tobacco shop owners, who dealt with selling tobacco products in the previous year to contine their activities if they agree to respect the rules of the national tobacco shops. (MTI)
