According to the 2013 data of Whitereport (WR) Ad Upgrade, about half of the classic media companies will be obliged to pay tax after advertising revenues, if the proposed amendment of the tax law will be accepted – Whitereport.hu wrote.
The Communication recalls: if the amendment would be adopted the amount of advertising tax would be 5.3 percent above 100 million HUF.
In Hungary 6,700 organizations are operating media businesses, among them more than 1,150 can be considered as media companies (the rest is operated by local governments, foundations, churches, or other organizations). (MTI)
