The University of Tokaj-Hegyalja has entered the international arena of viticulture research

French vines planted in Tokaj-Hegyalja
Pascale Andréani, the French ambassador to Hungary and István Stumpf, chairman of the board of the Foundation for the University of Tokaj-Hegyalja, planted one of the vines that came from Sauternes on Friday. The grafts from the Bordeaux wine region in France were planted in the Tarcal vineyard of the Tokaj Research Institute’s Viticulture and Enology Research Nonprofit Ltd. – according to the communiqué.
