The egg association also calls for VAT reduction
The Hungarian Egg Association would like to include the eggs into the circle of food products that are in the reduced, 5 percent value added tax (VAT) category – the president of the Egg Association said on Tuesday in Budapest.
Végh László told at the press conference heralding the World Egg Day that not only the VAT reduction is important for the egg producers, but they also want to benefit from animal welfare supports. The Hungarian Egg Association will consult with the ministry about this possibility. (MTI)
