Haluska festival in Vanyarc

The tenth Haluska festival will be organized on Saturday in Vanyarc, Nógrád county. The event, celebrating its 10th anniversary will await the audience with cooking competition and folk dance groups – Nedeliczki Teréz, President of the Association of Slovaks of Nógrád and Heves counties told MTI on Thursday.

Nedeliczki Teréz told that 23 teams will participate at this year’s cooking competition from Nógrád and Pest counties, but several teams will arrive from Slovakia as well.
The performers – including the Muzsla folk dance group and the Kóborzengő Ensemble Orchestra will stage the wedding party folk dance of Vanyarc including bride dances and mass dances. (MTI)
