Tesco won with heat wave and World Cup
Due to the World Cup and the good weather of the last few weeks, a significant increase occured in the Tesco in the marketing of beer, soft drinks, ice cream and snacks.
Although the bad weather of early June did not favoured beer drinking, the sunshine of the past weeks has resulted in a significant turnover growth. The demand for lemonade-based beers, which are less alcoholic, also increased among the customers. The turnover of mineral waters also increased and a 20 percent increase occured in the market of carbonated soft drinks – reports Világgazdaság Online.
