Tesco has agreed with the trade unions on the wages of cashiers
The satisfaction of its employees is important for the supermarket chain, and therefore Tesco will pay the same amount of rate collated with the trade unions.
Tesco has agreed with two trade unions of how much wage difference will be paid to the cashiers for the November 2011 to December 2008 period. The company decided to pay despite the fact that the legislation does not oblige the company to pay. Tesco said that the it is important for the company that all of its 22 thousand employees to be happy, and the cashiers can perform their daily work in the knowledge that their employer gives honor to them.
