Máriusz Révész said that in recent years the tourist houses have undergone a great development, and in many cases their standard exceeds that of the Austrian tourist houses.
“We can say that Hungary has come a long way in this area in recent years”
– he added.
The state secretary called it an important task to strengthen nature walks in the country. He cited Sweden and Finland as examples, where people spend much more time outdoors than in Hungary.
He emphasized: it is important to show the next generation that it is worth walking in nature, because this way you can live a fuller life. If this succeeds, the next generation will not only be healthier and happier, but will also protect nature better because they know its values, he said.
