The strengthening of the primary producer organizations is a sectoral priority. The government plans an important role to the producers' co-operation in the revitalization of the agricultural sector – the Parliamentary Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture (FM) said at 77th National Agricultural and Food Industrial Exhibition and Fair (OMÉK) in Budapest.
According to the communication of the Ministry of Agriculture (FM) Nagy István Minister of State told that the competitive advantage of the producers can be supported by goods traceability, by tightening the control of trade activities. He told that the share of producers' co-operation should be increased by at least 40 percent in the sector. (MTI)
