Tea is the second most popular warm drink
In January-June 2010, 69 percent of households bought tea. From the different tea types black, flavoured black and herbal teas were the most popular, with a 27-30 percent penetration. Fruit teas and green teas were favoured by every fifth household. The average tea-buying household bought less than two types of tea in six months. Nearly half of tea buyers bought products from only one segment, one third bought products from two different segments.
