Half of spring barley and wheat have already been sown in Zala County
It is planned to plant 1,700 hectares of spring barley, 1,000 hectares of spring wheat and 6,000 hectares of soybeans in the county. Two thousand hectares will be used to grow alfalfa, millet, buckwheat, oil pumpkin, and on a smaller area sugar beet, potatoes, oats and peas – Sabján Krisztián explained.
At the end of spring, 7,800 hectares of sunflower and 25,700 hectares of corn kernels are put into the ground.
