The Food Bank collected more durable food over the weekend for the needy than in last year
The weekend food collection action of the Hungarian Food Bank Association ended with success. The population collected a total of 140 tons of food for the families in need – the association announced on Sunday.
This year’s action was extended with new locations. This year durable food products were collected at 256 locations, compared to last year’s 230 sites. During the two-day action a total of 140 tons of durable food products were collected, which is 47 tons more than last year’s action. (MTI)
