Two and a half times more wheat was offered for the production of the Bread of Hungarians

This year, two and a half times more wheat was offered for the production of the Bread of Hungarians. The first shipments of wheat will arrive to Pécs on Friday – the Mayor's Office told MTI.

The Bread of the Nation charity initative was launched in Pécs last year. Then as now, farmers, chambers of agriculture, transport companies, mills and bakeries joined their forces. Last year, 10, this year, 24 tons of wheat was gathered in the Carpathian Basin to the initative. (MTI)
