The “Council of Neta Wise Men” was established; According to Márius Révész, the board is the guarantee that the approximately HUF 8.5 billion offering is used effectively.
Companies liable for the public health product tax (neta), commonly known as chipping tax, can donate 10 percent of their payments to programs and developments that promote an active lifestyle and daily physical exercise, announced the State Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office responsible for active Hungary at a press conference in Budapest on Wednesday.
Máriusz Révész said that the government expects HUF 85 billion in net income in this year’s budget, so up to HUF 8.5 billion could be available for active Hungary’s programs.
In order to convince the companies about the offers, a “Council of Net Wise Men” was formed from health and other professionals; the board is a guarantee that the incoming funds are used efficiently.
