This year’s development budget for the farm development program doubles, compared to last year

The proportion within the total amount of the farm development program have been set so that the people living on the farms can get more resources than the local governments, as the experience shows that their resource needs are higher – Kis Miklós, Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture (AM) told M1 news channel.

He explained that the municipalities could apply for a subsidy of 2 million HUF for the purchase of equipment necessary and up to 4 million for the construction of community spaces in the outskirts. If a municipality had previously been a beneficiary, it did not exclude the possibility of applying again, as there could be several homesteads in the outskirts of the area that it intends to develop, he pointed out.
